USF CAMLS Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Course and Cadaver Lab

Elevate your surgical expertise at the 2027 Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Course, hosted at USF CAMLS in Tampa, Florida. This hands-on, cadaver-based training is designed for gynecologic surgeons seeking to refine advanced laparoscopic techniques.

Under the guidance of experienced faculty, this immersive course provides the opportunity to develop technical skills using current technology and evidence-based approaches.

Day 1 includes expert-led lectures followed by hands-on training in advanced laparoscopic suturing, including intracorporeal and extracorporeal knot tying. Participants will also have access to an open suturing lab for additional practice.

Day 2 focuses on complex surgical scenarios and includes training in:

  • Total laparoscopic hysterectomy using safe and reproducible techniques
  • Advanced pelvic dissection
  • Electrosurgery principles and application
  • Prevention and management of bladder and bowel injuries

The course also features a dedicated half-day hysteroscopy dry lab on Friday, January 8, 2027, offering focused training in hysteroscopic techniques.
