CME Mission Statement

Focused on the goal of improving patient care in gynecologic medicine, AAGL recognizes the professional responsibility of lifelong learning and practice improvement of all clinicians. Accordingly, the AAGL provides a variety of CME activities to ensure our membership of gynecologists in practice, in training, as well as allied healthcare professionals in the field of gynecology, have access to the education they need and desire.

EXPECTED RESULTS

  1. Ensure all CME activities comply with the ACCME "Standards on Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education".
  2. Provide CME that enables our members to meet their relicensure and maintenance of certification needs.
  3. Design CME activities to be compliant with California laws relating to Cultural & Linguistic Competency and Implicit Bias.
  4. Design CME activities based on the identified practice gaps of our membership to improve competence, performance and/or patient care improvement.
  5. Evaluate to determine if our learners have increased competence because of attending activities.
  6. Evaluate to determine if our learners have increased performance in their practices.
  7. Evaluate to determine if our learners have identified improvement of patient care outcomes in their practices.
