Webinar Description: This interactive FMIGS fellows’ webinar will focus exclusively on adnexal surgery, emphasizing the optimal management of complex ovarian cysts and endometriomas. Through multidisciplinary case-based discussions, we will explore current surgical approaches, decision-making strategies, and considerations for fertility preservation. Faculty from MIGS, REI, and oncology backgrounds will share their perspectives, providing fellows with a comprehensive understanding of surgical planning and intraoperative techniques. This session aims to equip participants with practical insights to improve patient outcomes and confidence in managing challenging adnexal pathology.
Webinar Course Objective(s): By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the indications and key considerations for surgical management of complex ovarian cysts and endometriomas.
2. Compare different surgical approaches and techniques, including minimally invasive options, for adnexal pathology.
3. Discuss fertility preservation strategies and their integration into surgical planning for patients with complex adnexal disease.
