Webinar description: This webinar will cover careful consideration of reproductive outcomes pre-, intra- and post-operatively as it pertains to surgical management of endometriosis and intrauterine pathologies with endometrial involvement such as isthmocele, uterine septum, and the large intracavitary myoma.
Webinar Objectives:
1. Through collaborative discussion, the fellow will be able to engage fertility colleagues to optimize timing of fertility services, enhance pre- and post-operative communication between teams
2. Outline fertility considerations for structural pathologies with endometrial involvement (e.g. isthmocle repair, septum, large intracavitary myoma) and evidence based interventions for prevention of intrauterine adhesions
3. Describe fertility implications and timing of surgical management of ovarian endometriosis (for example the bilateral endometrioma)
4. Understand appropriate pregnancy timing and counseling about risks of pregnancy after reproductive surgery
5. Gain familiarity on the indications, risks and benefits of tubal re-anastomosis
