AGES/AAGL Affiliated Society Focus Meeting: The Modern Muse

This July, the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES) and AAGL will once again draw upon our combined expertise to present the best in minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery training at our 2023 Affiliated Society Focus Meeting. Registration is now open for the two-day program held at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit in Bangkok, Thailand, July 6-7, 2023.

For over 30 years, AGES has served as the primary gynaecological surgical association throughout Australia and New Zealand, with links to other societies throughout the Asia-Pacific region. As AGES President, I am honoured to Co-Chair this year’s event with AAGL President, Dr. Andrew Sokol. Along with our organizing committee, we have planned a program that will appeal to both young and experienced surgeons alike.

Under the umbrella of our theme, The Modern Muse, we will explore topics relevant to modern surgeons such as transgender medicine, modern surgical and imaging techniques, modern medications, and much more. The esteemed international faculty chosen to present include some of the most recognizable names of AGES and AAGL including Drs. Jason Abbott, Catarina Ang, Yasser Arafat, Sven Becker, George Condous, Kirsten Connan, Bassem Gerges, Helen Green, Rachel Green, Amani Harris, Pattaya Hengrasmee, Shamitha Kathurusinghe, Tarana Lucky, Stephen Lyons, Olarik Muigavong, Krasean Panyakhamlerd, Shailesh Puntambekar, Emma Readman, Andrew Sokol, Woraluk Somboonporn, Jen Sothornwit, Eashan Tambimuttu, Michael Wynn-Williams, Fariba Behnia-Willison, and Desiree Yap. We are also fortunate to have some fantastic local speakers bringing their unique perspectives to the program.

Join us in vibrant Bangkok as we delve into the latest advancements in MIGS and shape the future of gynaecological surgery!
