This webinar will focus on describing complex anorectal and pelvic malformations and reconstructive surgeries done in the pediatric and adolescent patient that will impact adult gynecologic medical and surgical care. During this course, listeners will gain knowledge on the embryology and diagnosis of anorectal and pelvic malformations in the pediatric patient; surgical considerations for urinary diversion, fecal diversions, mullerian anomalies, and vaginoplasty; discuss case examples of adult gynecologic patients with prior complex surgical history including understanding differences in anatomy and important considerations for pre-operative and intra-operative planning.
