We’re now accepting Course Submissions for the 2026 Global Congress. This portal is for complete, multi-faculty educational courses focused on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and complex gynecology.

For 2026, the Scientific Program Committee will prioritize courses that are evidence-based, outcomes-driven, and aligned with initiatives to improve awareness, early diagnosis, and timely access to high-quality care. Submissions should demonstrate clear relevance to patient outcomes and real-world clinical impact.

Important
Research studies, case reports, and abstract-based content should be submitted through the Call for Abstracts (open early March–late May).

New for 2026
Patient Health Forum
For the first time, the 2026 Congress will include a half-day Patient Health Forum, and we are accepting patient-oriented course submissions on endometriosis. Examples include:
Awareness and early identification
Endometriosis impact and multi-modal, multi-specialty management throughout the life span
Patient-centered outcomes

Faculty Profile Requirement
Email addresses for all faculty must be provided. All faculty profiles must be completed for a course to be reviewed. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

To suggest topics for courses (not submit a full course), email education@aagl.org with the subject line:
“2026 SPC Course Suggestions.”

All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee.

PG Didactic Course

Courses Slots Available (10+)
2 Hours in Length
PG Courses take place on the 2nd day of the congress
Four Faculty max. (Two Chairs and Two additional faculty)
All Faculty are invited to present a talk up to a twenty five minutes
There is also a 20 Minute Q&A Session with the audience
A post-graduate didactic course should deepen advanced knowledge, enhance decision-making, and translate current evidence into consistent, high-quality professional practice.

MedTalk

General Sessions

4 General Session Slots Available
Sessions are 45 Minutes in Length
General Sessions begin on the 2nd day of the congress, through the last day of the congress.
Four Faculty max. Roundtable or Panel format (two chairs and two additional faculty)
All Faculty are invited to presents talks up to 10 minutes.
A good general session should do more than just deliver information. It should set tone, direction, and shared purpose for the entire audience. At its best, it functions as the anchor for the congress.

Surgical Tutorials

1 hour in Length
Surgical Tutorials take place on the 3rd and 4th day of the congress
Three Faculty max. (one chair and two additional faculty)
All Faculty are invited to present a talk up to 15 minutes with a 15 minute Q&A.
15 Minute Q&A Session with the audience
Surgical Tutorial courses - are designed to teach technique, judgment, and decision-making, not just to display how to do a procedure.

Panel Discussions

1 Hour in Length
Panel Discussions take place on the 3rd and 4th day of the congress
Three Faculty max. (One Chair and Two Faculty)
Faculty talks are up to 15 minutes
15 Minute Q&A Session with the audience
A strong panel discussion on a medical topic should aim to deepen understanding, present multiple perspectives, and translate expertise into practical insight.

SUBMIT A PANEL DISCUSSION

Debates

1 Hour in Length
Debates take place on the 3rd and 4th day of the congress
Three Faculty max. (One Chair/Moderator and One "pro" faculty and One "con" faculty)
Chairs are invited to provide and intro talk to set the topic and then engage and moderate the debate faculty.
Faculty talks are up to 20 minutes
20 Minute Q&A Session with the audience
A good debate should do more than “win an argument.” Its purpose is to advance understanding, sharpen clinical judgment, and ultimately improve patient care by rigorously examining differing viewpoints.

Patient Session

1 Hour in Length
Patient Sessions will take place on the 2nd day of the congress
Four Faculty max. Roundtable of Panel format (two chairs and two additional faculty)
30 minutes of faculty discussion/presentations.
30 minutes of Q&A interactivity with the audience
A strong educational session for patients should aim to empower, inform, and support them in a way that is practical, respectful, and actionable.
