"I am the last living AAGL Founder and as such, I continue to be connected to those involved from the early years. AAGL helped me achieve great success in my career. I was appointed to the WHO to introduce laparoscopy to developing countries and I served as the FDA advisor on endoscopes for 20 years. AAGL opens numerous doors to teaching medical education in endoscopy worldwide."
"By viewing videos and live surgeries I learned how to perform a laparscopic hysterecoty and later how to deal with deep infiltrating endometriosis. This improved my surgery and is good for me, for the patient, and the community.”
"Connection with the fellowship, education, research, and mentorship has given me opportunities to learn, collaborate and advance the field. Involvement in AAGL has allowed me to become a minimally invasive surgeon, develop research ideas, and have a platform to share research.”
"Involvement with AAGL and attending the Global Congress has helped me develop good relationships with great surgeons in the world and become a better surgeon.”
Focused on residents, our Essentials in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (EMIGS) program is a validated training and testing program approved for use by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG).
